The former Brat Packer has already appeared on Monk and Royal Pains and will next been seen on White Collar in a flashback heavy episode, airing Jan. Guest stars galore and singing! USA Network must really like Andrew McCarthy. That chemistry was very much apparent during a conference call with members of the press, during which DeKay and Bomer shared about what’s to come on White Collar and even sang a little (sadly, that’s not in this post). It’s not very often that you can have two characters just sitting and talking exposition, as Neal and Peter do in episode 2, and still find it interesting to watch. The new season continues to capitalize on DeKay and Bomer’s fantastic, easy chemistry. The series has found its groove in the push and pull interplay between FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) and con artist extraordinaire Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer). The first two episodes of the new season are so good, White Collar has surpassed the increasingly confusing, although still enjoyable Burn Notice as my favorite USA Network show. to finish off the back half of its terrific second season.
